Nursing Staff at the Cobar Hospital

Are exceptional and  extremely competent. They are also working on the wards looking after inpatients and often mutiple emergencies at the same time, so please  be patient . Please advise them that you have arrived at the hospital by presenting at nurse’s station Glass Window  and pressing the bell . Once you have done that, have a seat in the emergency waiting room at the Hospital’s accident and emergency and start filling out a Patient Emergency Visit form .  ( This requires your address, Mobile/ home phone number and most  importantly your Medicare Card number and next of kin or emergency contact person’s number)

It is inappropriate to attend the Emergency Department for routine medical consultations which should be dealt with by attending the Doctor’s Surgery during working hours.
